Options for the Player, Tools, Batch Processor and Capture DV can be found in the menu of the main DVMP Pro window. This pops up an Options dialog box with the following sections:
|•||Metadata Sources - choose the source of metadata for DV AVI, Raw DV, DV MOV, HDV, AVCHD, MOV, MP4 and MPEG-2 PS files|
|•||Video Decoders - video decoders for HDV, AVCHD, MOV, MP4 and MPEG-2 PS files|
|•||Audio Decoders - audio decoders for HDV, AVCHD, MOV, MP4 and MPEG-2 PS files|
|•||Rendering - gives you a choice of video renderers that are used to display video frames|
|•||Scenes - choose the triggers which define a "scene" (DV file types only)|
|•||Burn-In - settings for the Burn-in Metadata and Burn-in Timestamp tools|
|•||Appearance - set the font and size for burned-in text; also the language and format for the recording date and time|
|•||Output - set the output file type for the Burn-in Metadata and Burn-in Timestamp tools|
|•||Capture - settings for the Capture DV window|
|•||Splitter - settings for the DV AVI file splitter|
|•||Export Subtitles - settings used when exporting metadata to a SRT subtitle file|
These sections are described below.
When you click the OK button at the bottom of the Options dialog box, changes that you made to any of the settings are saved for future use. However, the settings in the Modify Metadata section are not saved as you will probably want to set these to different values for each modify operation. By default all of the Modify Metadata check boxes are un-checked.
